79-Year-Old Woman Dies At Hospital Weeks After Atoka County Crash

A passenger involved in an Atoka County crash in early March has died, authorities say.

Martha Mitchell, 79, died at an Oklahoma City hospital on Saturday two weeks after the crash on March 4th near Stringtown, Oklahoma, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

OHP says the crash happened at US-69 near the Choctaw Casino, where the driver of the vehicle Mitchell was in pulled out in front of a vehicle driving soundbound on the highway.

OHP said Mitchell was taken to the hospital in "stable condition" after the crash.
