Newcastle Police Search For Home Burglary Suspect

Newcastle Police are searching for a suspect in connection to a home burglary that happened on Tuesday in Newcastle.

Police said the burglary happened at a home on Northeast 9th Street.

A woman returned to her home where she was allegedly assaulted by the suspect, police said.

The suspect also fled the scene with the woman's cell phone.

The suspect is described as a male who was wearing a green flannel-type shirt.
