Broadway Musical 'Oklahoma' Celebrates 80th Anniversary

Friday marks the 80th anniversary since "Oklahoma” made its Broadway debut.

It was the first musical written by the famous duo, Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II in 1943.

The musical became a staple in American Musical Theater.
