Fire Forced Evacuation Around Circle Mountain Area In Bartlesville

Circle Mountain residents can return home, with the exception of those who live on East Mountain Road, Bartlesville Police said.

Police said residents can enter using the west entrance to Circle Mountain only.

The Bartlesville Police Department asked people to evacuate the area around Circle Mountain due to an extensive wildfire.

Police asked people to avoid the area while crews work to knock down the flames.

Students who live in the Circle Mountain area were rerouted to Kane Elementary, according to Washington County Emergency Management.
