2 More Metro Animal Shelters Temporarily Close, Battle Mysterious Illness

Midwest City Animal Shelter, Yukon Animal Shelter, and Oklahoma City Animal Shelter have all temporarily closed in order to battle an upper respiratory illness that is affecting dogs.

The Oklahoma City Animal Shelter closed last week after more than 150 animals caught the illness.

The Oklahoma City Animal Shelter, along with Edmond and Moore, are no longer accepting strays as they attempt to contain the outbreak.
