Warmer weather is finally here in Green Country, and a popular Tulsa hang-out is kicking off its spring events.
Food Truck Wednesdays return this Wednesday, April 5, at Guthrie Green and other events are in the books.
Event season is getting started the green, along with weekly favorite in Downtown Tulsa Food Truck Wednesday.
Every week from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., you can grab a bite to eat at the park while enjoying sunshine and music.
Guthrie Green Program Manager Derek Combs says this week's line-up includes several types of food like pizza, tacos, pitas, and Cajun cuisine.
"Honestly, this is the first season where we've been legitimately fully staffed since the pandemic, and so we're able to basically launch it off starting in the spring. It feels great,” Combs said.
First Friday is on April 7 with the first outdoor art market of the year on Reconciliation Way.
You can catch more live music and food trucks and shop from local vendors and artists.
Movie in the Park events return in a couple weeks on each third Thursday, starting out with Dazed and Confused on April 20.
There will also be a vintage clothing market before the film.
Combs says the springtime temperatures are attracting people back to the area.
"We're just starting to see some activity and life in the park again and it's really nice here in the Arts District,” Combs said.
