Toxic Gas Releases From SW Oklahoma City Building; No Injuries Reported

Authorities responded to the scene after toxic gas was released from the Reddy Ice building on Monday in southwest Oklahoma City, according to the Oklahoma City Fire Department.

Firefighters said the building was evacuated after workers switched out tanks and cut a line, releasing Anhydrous Ammonia into the air.

The tanks have since been drained, and the ammonia levels are back to normal, according the OCFD.

Firefighters said no injuries were reported during the incident.
