Alleged SE OKC Machete Attack Leaves 1 Injured

One person was hospitalized after an alleged machete attack at a southeastern Oklahoma City motel.

Authorities said the attack happened at around 3 a.m. Tuesday near I-35 and Southeast 29th Street.

Officers said they found a machete in a room they searched, which they believe is the weapon used in the attack.

Oklahoma City police said the victim was cut on the arm and had to be taken to a local hospital, while the supposed attacker left the scene and has yet to be identified.
