51-Year-Old Killed In Johnston County Semi Crash

A 51-year-old woman was killed in a crash Tuesday morning in Johnston County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Troopers said Shanelle Watts, 51, and a semi driver were traveling southbound on State Highway 48, about seven miles south of Wapanucka, Okla.

The semi driver stopped to make a left turn when Watts’ vehicle rear-ended the semi, according to troopers.

Watts was pronounced dead at the scene, OHP said.

The semi driver was transported to the hospital and has since been treated and released.
