The Tulsa City-County Library is considering adding more security once Rudisill Library reopens.
The library said no decisions have been made just yet, but it is working to figure out what to do to try to prevent something like this from happening again.
The day after two deadly shootings in her district, City Councilor Vanessa Hall-Harper said she is feeling shocked and sad.

"My heart goes out to the families of those victims. And I'm sorry, I'm sorry for it. And they're in my prayers,” Hall-Harper said.
While the Rudisill Library is closed for the rest of the week, plans are being made to heighten security not just at this library, but at branches all across the county.
At the Central Library downtown, security officers can be seen near the entrance.
In a statement, the Tulsa City-County Library said, "The safety and security of our staff, customers, and neighbors is a priority for us. We will continue to work with Library commissioners and staff to review and evaluate the safety measures currently in place within our system and, where changes are appropriate, they will be made."
Hall-Harper has this message for her district after two innocent people lost their lives: "Stay prayerful, stay aware as much as you possibly can. You know, these are shocking incidents so it's hard to prepare for them,” she said.
A sign on the door at Rudisill Library said the nearest libraries are Kendall-Whittier, Suburban Acres or Central Library downtown.
