Garvin County Emergency Management Provides Update On Wynnewood Oil Refinery Fire

Garvin County Emergency Management provided an update after a fire broke out Tuesday at an oil refinery in Wynnewood.

Director David Johnson said the fire started at around 8:20 a.m. at the Wynnewood Refining near Highway 77 and Powell Avenue.

Two employees were injured and transported to the hospital for evaluation.

All other employees have been accounted for, Johnson said.

The cause of the fire has been isolated, and an investigation is underway.
