Two suspects turned themselves in to Tulsa Police in connection to a shooting that killed one man and injured a teenager.

Officers said Treston and Terry Buckley went to the victims' home to trade guns with them on Friday, but during the exchange, the victims were shot.

Investigators said a 34-year-old man was killed, and his 16-year-old son went to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The teenager is still recovering, according to officers.

News On 6 was there when the two teenage cousins surrendered at the Tulsa County jail Wednesday afternoon.

Treston Buckley and Terry Buckley Jr. are charged with first degree murder, shooting with intent to kill, and first-degree robbery for a shooting that happened June 2.

The Buckley cousins said they're innocent and they had more than a dozen friends and family with them, as they walked into the jail to surrender.

"Yeah, I'm innocent," said Terry Jr., 16-year-old suspect. "Ain't nobody bring me here. I surrender myself."

Before their son surrendered to police, Terry Jr.'s parents wanted to share his side of the story.

"Don't judge what Facebook says. Don't go off of what people post. Don't say that, cause it's not all like it seems. It's not like it seems. Cause if you don't know, you weren't there, don't do that cause you don't know. You don't know," said Latoya Teague, Terry Buckley Jr.'s mom.

Treston Buckley, 17, and Terry Buckley Jr., 16, hugged their families before being handcuffed.

"Prayers go to all families. Both sides of this," said Latoya.

Police said the Buckley cousins shot Micah Goff and his 16-year-old son several times last Friday. The father was killed, and the son was critically injured.

"We don't condone this type of stuff," said Latoya.

Police said it was a gun exchange turned robbery that went wrong.

"It was self-defense. That's all he could say," said Terry Buckley Sr., Terry Buckley Jr's dad.

"He feared for his life," said Latoya.

Terry brought a piece of paper with cell phone numbers to call from inside his cell.

"Hug your kids and keep them off the streets. Keep them in school," said Terry Sr.

Terry Jr.'s mom said you can't watch your kids 24-7, but you can let them know you love them.

"[W]e can't keep them in our back pocket. We can love them, hug them, and show them that support and everything will come to the surface. Your babies, I mean hug them. Tell them you love them. My kids know when they walk out that door every day, alright take God with you. That's our ritual. That's what we say. So yeah, it's different. It hits different. I have to tell myself my son is going on vacation so I can keep myself sane cause it hurts," said Latoya.

They told Terry to keep his head up. "I'm just keep my head up," said Terry Jr.

"Same way we came here to drop him off, we'll be right here pick him up," said Latoya.

Their families advised them to only talk to their attorney and followed them over to the detective division.
