Oilton police say a man is dead after a tree fell on his house during the overnight storms.
First Free Will Baptist Church in Oilton is without power, but still had a service by candlelight to pray for the community, and those who are hurting.
"Pray for the community and that everything gets taken care of," said Wesley Reves.
Wesley Reves lives about three blocks away from the church, and says he knew storms were coming, but didn't think it would be this bad.
He says heard a bunch of thunder and saw a lot of lightning.
"It didn't sound like a freight train, but you could tell the wind was blowing, because the windows would rattle, and everything, it was pretty loud," he said.
He says his yard has some damage but knows it could be much worse.
Oilton Police say a man died after a tree fell on his house, his wife and kids were taken to the hospital, but are expected to recover.
Wesley says this is devastating for the community.
"It is heartbreaking because I know his dad, and it's not a good way to start off Father's Day, to lose your son," he said.
Wesley says this is a close-knit community and they will take care of each other.
"This community comes together for everybody, we are here for them no matter what," he said.
The name of the man who died has not been released.
