Grady Co. Inmate Escapes Custody, Crashes Patrol Vehicle

A woman was able to slip out of a pair of handcuffs and attempted to steal a Rush Springs Police vehicle on Saturday, according to the Grady County Sheriff's Office.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrols said the woman ran over an officer and a pastor before crashing the cruiser.

According to authorities, the officer is expected to be okay, but there is no word on the pastor's condition.
