Southwest Power Pool Raises Awareness About Conserving Energy Amid Summer Heat

The company that manages the electric grid for Oklahoma and several other states is raising awareness about conserving energy in the summer heat.

Southwest Power Pool said we are not at emergency levels yet.

Some ways to conserve energy include turning up the thermostat, avoid using electric stoves and not doing laundry during peak hours.
