December is here, and while we're gearing up for festive fun and holiday traditions, the weather reminds us that winter is settling in.
For many, last week marked the first freeze of the season, which is unusually late for this time of year.
This week will bring a mix of chilly mornings and milder afternoons.
Showers will move in from the south overnight into Wednesday morning. The rain will continue in our southern counties throughout the day, but we stay dry in OKC.
Warmer-than-average temperatures continue, but our next front arrives. Much like Tuesday, we don't warm up much on Wednesday. Highs are stuck in the 50s and upper 40s.
What is the weather like in Oklahoma for the rest of the week?
Our next front arrives. This will make for a much chillier Thursday. Friday still looks chilly, though a southerly wind returns.
The weekend promises mild conditions with highs reaching the 60s and possibly 70s before another cold front sweeps in early next week.
