As we transition from a warm weekend into a starkly colder week, Oklahoma is bracing for gusty winds and a drop in temperatures that will leave you reaching for your winter gear.

As the colder air deepens, there’s a small chance of precipitation midweek. A mix of light rain and potentially snow flurries could move in late Wednesday into early Thursday, but don’t expect much accumulation. The data suggests only trace amounts—just enough to remind us winter is around the corner.
There will be a slight chance of light rain across much of the state Wednesday evening into the night with a chance of snow in the panhandle.
Thanksgiving:
We’re in for some chilly but not freezing weather for Thanksgiving.
A second cold front Wednesday night could bring scattered showers, with a 30% chance of rain overnight.
Thanksgiving Day highs will reach only the mid-40s, with sunshine expected by afternoon.

Black Friday:
Black Friday will be sunny but cold, with temperatures remaining in the 40s.
Shoppers will need to brave early-morning cold before daytime highs reach a modest 46°F.
Weekend Weather:
As the weekend approaches, a new front will bring another surge of cold air, potentially dropping highs to 39°F by Sunday.
