After Monday’s stormy chaos, it’s hard to believe today’s weather is so calm.
Several tornadoes touched down in southwest Oklahoma early Monday morning, and conditions moved east throughout the state.

Our next chance for rain is Wednesday!
What is the weather like in Oklahoma on Wednesday?
Expect the mid-30s to low 40s across Oklahoma, with some of the northern areas possibly dipping into the low 30s, which means a light freeze and some patchy frost are possible early Wednesday morning.
This morning marks a significant weather shift. Today’s high is expected to hit the 50s, which isn’t terribly cold, but it is a notable drop from our recent warm streak.
It’s actually the first day we’ve had temperatures cooler than 60 degrees since April 2nd, which means we’ve just shattered a record for the longest stretch without a cool day.
A north breeze keeps highs stuck in the 50s Wednesday afternoon.
What does the weather look like for the rest of the week?
Cool afternoons and dry weather stick around for the rest of the work week.
We have some cold mornings and cool afternoons this week before we warm up for the weekend.
Friday’s highs will be in the 50s, too, but high school football game-time temps will fall into the 40s.
By Saturday, it’s all about getting outside—temps are warming up into the 60s, with some great weather in store.
This weekend, highs will climb back into the 60s and 70s across the state. Another cold front is expected to arrive next Tuesday, but the big question is how far south the Arctic air will push.
While we likely won’t see a major cold blast for Thanksgiving, it’s shaping up to be a chilly holiday but still dry for the most part.
