Cool Friday ahead of weekend rain chances

It is a clear and cold morning across Oklahoma this Friday.

We are tracking some rain that could hit the state this weekend.

What is the weather like on Friday?

This Friday will be full of sunshine, and highs will climb into the low 50s. Winds will be gusty at times out of the southwest.

The high winds will increase the wildfire risk in southwestern Oklahoma.

Friday night, a cold front moves into the state. This will drop lows into the teens in the panhandle.

Lows in central Oklahoma will be in the in the 30s.

What will the weather be like this weekend?

Clouds will roll in on Saturday and north winds will ramp up across the state. There may be a few showers in the southeast.

On Sunday, it will be several degrees cooler with cloudy skies and shower chances.

The highest chance for rain will be in the southeast.
