Sooner Nation is celebrating Coach Barry Switzer and his 50-year run with the University of Oklahoma Thursday.

"The only thing that's going to help us is the fact that we'll get better at throwing the more we throw and when we do throw we gotta better chance to compete and be successful,” Switzer said in 1978.

News 9 has been in Norman all day to celebrate the former OU head football coach.
