ODOT Urges Patience As Drivers Head To Red River Rivalry Game

Interstate 35 is expected to be packed this weekend as fans make their way down to Dallas for the 119th Red River Rivalry game.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is telling drivers to prepare for setbacks.

“Friday through Sunday will be the peak time of travel, so we are asking people to pack their patience,” Bryce Boyer with ODOT said.

All four lanes of I-35 from Oklahoma City to Texas will be open Friday through Sunday, according to ODOT, but there will be work zones.

The Department of Transportation is encouraging drivers to download their app for real-time traffic updates.
