1 Killed, 1 Hurt In Noble Shooting, Deputies Say

One person was shot and killed, and two others were injured in a shooting in Noble on Wednesday, according to the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office.

The shooting happened near 148th Street and Cemetery Road, a source with the department confirmed to News 9.

Law enforcement said they responded shortly after 4 p.m. to a 'shots fired' call.

Authorities said that an injured individual traveled a few miles to a gas station for help, and were taken to a nearby hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time. The injured subject led police to the scene of the shooting where they found one person deceased.

Police originally believed there was an attempted home invasion.

Cleveland County Sheriff's office said only one person was inside the home at the time and they are not injured.

Police have not released the identity of anyone arrested.
