Oklahoma City Mayor, Tribal Leaders Commemorate Topping Out Ceremony Of Okana Resort

Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt and tribal leaders were in attendance Thursday morning to commemorate the topping out ceremony of the Okana Resort and Indoor Waterpark.

Traditionally, the topping out ceremony celebrates the tallest, and usually the last beam placed on a structure during construction, signifying the completion of laying the groundwork.

The hotel, near the First Americans Museum, has 11 stories featuring 404 rooms.

According to the Okana Resort, it is expected to open in 2025.
