The storied Bedlam Big 12 rivalry came to a close at Boone Pickens Stadium, where fans packed the stadium to catch the historic game.

"There's just this atmosphere around it," said Garret Dutton, an OSU sophomore. "It's got such a rich history."

It was a game that fans looked forward to each season.

"Leading up into it, you pay attention to every other game, but this one matters way more," Dutton said.

But now, Bedlam is a thing of the past, at least for the foreseeable future.

"We're upset to see it go because it's got so much behind it," Dutton said.

OSU and OU fans alike went out with a bang Saturday, a few fans even camped out overnight to get a front-row seat to the historic game. Cowboys started crowding Boone Pickens as soon as the sun came up, decked out in their orange and black, with a few superstitions to match.

"We were kind of in a slump," Dutton said. "We had back-to-back losses and me as a fan I was like something has to change."

Dutton decided a lucky outfit would turn things around.

"Got the orange shoes, the big hat, pulled this out, this was from like my senior prom," he said, referencing his orange and black outfit completed with an OSU-themed blazer on top. "Ever since then we haven't lost a game so, you know, we're just going to keep it rolling until something needs to change again."

Dutton was one of many decked-out OSU fans vying for a front-row seat to Bedlam's finale.

"Looking around and seeing the sea of orange is really special," he said.

But in that sea, there was one lone man in red.

Seth Stewart was out early Saturday morning, ready to cheer on the Sooners.

I love the Bedlam games so much," Stewart said.

The games hold so many iconic moments and memories for fans across the state, including one for him.

"Bakers senior year," Stewart recalled. "He came here and he threw for 600 yards, it was a great game."

And anticipation for Saturday's matchup was electric for fans in orange and red.

"You can lose every game, but you gotta beat OU," Dutton said.

"It's all crimson and cream," Stewart said.
