Kevin is an Oklahoma native, having been born and raised in Coweta. He got his love of weather from his dad, Tom, who was a police officer and emergency management director. His dad would often take him outside and show him the different clouds and storm structures as severe weather came in.
Growing up, Kevin dreamed of becoming a police officer like his dad. He achieved that dream in 2008 while also assisting his dad as an emergency management assistant in charge of storm tracking, monitoring radar and damage assessment. He has been tracking Oklahoma weather for nearly 20 years, and loves being able to help keep Oklahomans safe and informed during severe weather.
Kevin currently resides in Rogers County with his wife Angela, his 3 daughters, and his dogs, Radar and Zeus. When he is not tracking weather, he enjoys traveling, the outdoors (especially fishing), and spending time with his family.
