It's no secret Oklahoma State fans celebrated the Bedlam win on Saturday night.

A piece of the goalpost ended up in Theta Pond on campus, and an Oklahoma State student jumped in to get a little bit of Bedlam history.

While it's quiet on Oklahoma State's campus today, it was a different story Saturday when the Cowboys took down the Sooners in the final scheduled Bedlam.

Sophomore students Noah Campbell and Griffin Singleton were at the game, stormed the field after the win, and then went home to celebrate.

The two guys say they saw videos of students taking the goalpost down and that pieces had ended up in Theta Pond.

But it wasn't until a text from Noah's dad that they decided to go looking for the pieces.

"He was like 'Hey we'd really like a piece of that goalpost if you could somehow get it,' I was like 'Man that's a good idea'," Noah said.

They went to Theta Pond and saw people looking, but everyone decided the post had already been taken out.

Later though, they decided to look closer. With having been in the water before, Griffin stood on the side to help, while Noah jumped in.

"You couldn't pay me to get back in that water, I just gave him moral support from the shore, like 'Let's go Noah!', I was just cheering him on," Griffin said.

Noah says he swam to the middle and didn't have any luck, but with people helping him, he finally found what he was looking for.

ESPN writer Dave Wilson stumbled across the search and posted the video to social media.

"I was about neck deep in Theta Pond, like feeling around, and I hit something metal, lifted it up and it was yellow," Noah said.

He says the water was pretty gross, but it was worth it, and he'd do it again.

While there's a lot of college left for these two, they agree the memories made this past weekend will be hard to beat.

"Never know what's going to happen, but it's going to be hard to top this," Noah said.
