The family of the 16-year-old Bartlesville boy says he was with his friends right before he was murdered.
Police say the driver has been arrested, but they are looking for more suspects.
There is now a memorial where Markus Scott was shot and left to die.

His family says what makes the death even more devastating is that the people he trusted let him down.
Remembering their baby brother with his shoes and t-shirt -- laid where he was shot to death. Markus Scott's siblings demand to know why someone would take the 16-year-old's life.
“There’s not a thing in my mind that I can even think that would make anybody angry enough to kill him,” said his big sister, Mariah Webb.
Mariah says witnesses told the family that Markus got into an argument with friends at a friend's house Monday night, then rode in a friend’s car with at least 3 other friends.
“He loved everybody in that car, so they literally betrayed his trust with that one,” Mariah said.
Family says Markus was riding to his girlfriend’s house when something led to him getting out of the car near Highway 60 and Frank Phillips Blvd, then getting shot.
“I just wish they would have called us,” Mariah said. “We would have went and got him.”
While police look into who was involved in Markus' killing, loved ones hold on to memories.
“Markus was the sweetest individual,” his sister said. “He was so selfless.”
Markus' girlfriend, Jaeleen Wilson, says they had quality time the day he died.
“It was his first time fishing, and he was so happy he caught three fish,” she said. “He was just super happy, and we talked about our kid all day.”
Their baby girl is due on Christmas Eve.
“No matter what, she’s going to know about him,” said Jaeleen. “She’s going to know he’s an amazing person and everything.”
Loved ones demand justice for Markus and promise to make sure his memories live on.
"Long live my brother, and it's senseless and shouldn't happen,” his brother Markell said.
The family has set up a GoFundMe and is planning on a candlelight vigil and funeral services.
