A man is in critical condition after he was shot Thursday night near 46th Street North and MLK, Tulsa Police said. Police said they are still looking for anyone who might be responsible.
Officers said they have a vague description of two men wearing dark clothing who ran off after the shooting.
Police said they got the call just before 10 p.m. Thursday night.
Officers said when they arrived at the scene, they found a man in the driver's seat of a white SUV who had been shot in the head.
The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition, officer said.
The victim was parked outside a house when the shooting happened, police said. Two other vehicles and a house were also hit, police said.
"So, he was in the driver's seat of the vehicle. After the shooting occurred, the vehicle rolled several houses and crashed into a mailbox across the street. And that's part of the reason for the elongated scene. Because wherever that vehicle traversed after the shooting, that's part of our crime scene as well," Captain Matt Arnold with Tulsa Police said.
Crime scene detectives processed the scene and will now comb through the evidence to try to find a suspect, police said.
If you know anything that can help police, you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
