Baltimore Ravens Long Snapper Tyler Ott's Special Connection To March Of Dimes Nonprofit

If you've watched the Baltimore Ravens this season, you may have noticed Tyler Ott on the team. He's a former Jenks Trojan and long snapper.

Tyler Ott and his mom, Laurie Applekamp, join Dave Davis at 9 in the morning to talk about their special connection to March of Dimes.

What is special about March of Dimes?

"We've been around for over 85 years and we do amazing things to help moms and babies. Everyone wants to have a healthy baby and you want to be a healthy mom when you're pregnant. There's just so many good things that we're doing in the community to make sure that happens. Because right now, in Oklahoma, we do not have great statistics when it comes to babies being born premature. We received an 'F' on our report card for prematurity. And one in 10 babies right now are being born premature in Oklahoma. So, there's just so many reasons," Laurie said.
