A week-long search for a missing Tulsa woman has come to a tragic end.

Tulsa Police say investigators found Cassidy Ritchie's body inside her damaged car.

Now, her family is remembering a mother, daughter, and friend.

Cassidy Ritchie went missing last weekend, leading to a police investigation and a community search.

Her car was found near Highway 412 between Catoosa and Inola on Friday.

Investigators say they found her body underneath clothes in the back of that SUV after serving a search warrant today.

Cassidy Ritchie's oldest son Joey David said this has been the hardest, longest week of his life, and his mother and family would want him to share her story.

"My graduation, when I buy my first house, have my first kid, I'll be yelling her name wishing she was there," David said.

He said his favorite thing about his mom is that she should always check in with him, even at 2 a.m. just so she could hear his voice.

"I just wish I could talk to her one more time and just tell her I love her and I'm sorry that this happened to her, and I wish we knew something was going on. I wish she would have told us and I just wish I could speak to her one more time and tell her I loved her," David said.

He said it meant the world to him that she was proud of him. He says the love and support from the community has been overwhelming.

On Saturday, several people came out to look for Ritchie. The family wants to thank those who have reached out to help.

"She cared for everybody when she walked into a room everybody's faces lit up she was a very great person to be around. At Thanksgiving and Christmas, she'd lead our prayers and everything like that. She'd try to hold our family together whenever sometimes we thought it'd be broken and I want everybody to know she was a very good mom and woman as well," David said.
