A program at Tulsa's Gathering Place offers a selection of books for people to enjoy outdoors.
Leaders at the park said it's important for all children to have access to literacy programs and books. So they are happy to provide different educational programs.
Tulsa's Gathering Place has been expanding its book collection since the "GROW Mobile Library" program began. GROW is an acronym for "Gather and Read on Wheels."

The park partners with the Tulsa City-County Library, which supplies books. People with a library card can check them out.
Sydney Brown with the Gathering Place said this is one of their most popular programs. They see people of all ages coming to enjoy books surrounded by beautiful scenery.

“So, it’s set up either inside or just right outside Williams’ Lodge depending on the weather. There is little chairs and stations where people can kind of get comfortable and read whatever book they have picked out," Brown said.
You can check out books at the GROW Mobile Library every Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. CLICK HERE for more information.
