In this cooking corner, Tanner Thorp from Montereau shares a Prosciutto & Brie Grilled Cheese recipe.
Ingredients
- 8 slices brie cheese
- ¼ cup fig jam
- 4oz prosciutto
- 1 cup arugula
- 4 slices ripe tomato
- 4 slices hearty loaf bread
- 2 tablespoons softened butter
Instructions
- Step 1: Heat griddle or saute pan to 350-400 degrees
- Step 2: Butter 1 side each of all four slices of the bread
- Step 3: Place buttered side down on the griddle
- Step 4: Place 4 slices of brie on 2 of the bread pieces
- Step 5: On the other 2 bread pieces, spread the fig jam
- Step 6: Place the prosciutto on the jam
- Step 7: Once the brie is melted and the bread is nicely grilled place the arugula and the tomato on the brie, then place the prosciutto and fig slice on top of the tomato/arugula and slice the sandwich in half.
