Tulsa Police Arrest Man Accused Of Assault, Attempted Carjacking

A man is in custody on Thursday after police said he admitted to a crime spree near 31st and Mingo.

Tulsa Police said the suspect Jeremiah Olson assaulted a restaurant manager in the area first.

Then a few minutes later, police say an armed man sprayed two women with gasoline while they were filling up their vehicle at a gas station. He also tried to carjack them, police say.

Officers in the area said they found a man matching the description of the person involved in both incidences.

Olson was arrested on several complaints including assault with a deadly weapon.
