A Bixby man has been charged in federal court with child sex crimes after recently being charged with raping a 14-year-old girl during a track meet in Norman.
Investigators say that case led them to a Tulsa victim, who is also 14 years old.
A federal probable cause affidavit says Presley got in contact with the girls through social media apps like Snapchat.
The affidavit says a 14-year-old girl from Bixby was in Norman in February for a track meet.
It says Presley and the girl left in his car and drove to a nearby parking lot and had sex, then he returned her to the track meet.
The affidavit says that the case led investigators to Presley’s phone and that led them to a Tulsa victim.
The affidavit says Presley sexually assaulted that 14-year-old girl at a Tulsa apartment complex.
An investigator says they learned Presley often hangs out in his car at Bixby track meets and track practices.
The affidavit says Presley was a football coach at Bixby Public Schools but was fired after being involved with a minor child in 2019.
Bixby Public Schools confirmed Presley was an adjunct coach during the 2018-2019 season.
BPS told News On 6 that, “in response to your questions, the district does not comment on personnel issues. We can confirm Mr. Presley was employed as an adjunct “lay” coach with Bixby football during the 2018-2019 season serving as an assistant coach with one of our 8th grade teams. However, the circumstances related to his departure are not entirely accurate. As with anyone who is on campus without permission or business here, anytime his presence was reported, he has been immediately asked to leave. He has not served in any capacity with Bixby Public Schools or our athletic programs since that 2018-2019 football season. I can tell you, we are unaware of any potential criminal issue related to his departure in 2019."
The Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office sent News On 6 a statement that says in full, “We received a referral on this matter, but declined charges at the time due to a lack of evidence. He is also Native American, and based upon McGirt, we do not have jurisdiction to prosecute him.”
Homeland Security Investigations is asking if there are additional victims, for them to call this number, 866-347-2423.
