Severe weather once again arrived in Oklahoma on Monday, bringing dangerously high wind speed, hail, and even tornadoes.

As of Tuesday morning, at least nine tornadoes touched down across the state, with the largest striking in Osage County, where it left one person dead in Barnsdall.

Multiple tornadoes and storms caused significant damage across the state, with the biggest tornado hitting the northeast Oklahoma town of Barnsdall, causing significant damage there, and then in Bartlesville, where it impacted minutes later.

The City of Bartlesville posted an update on social media, saying only minor injuries have been reported, but multiple roads are closed due to fallen trees and debris.

Osage County authorities confirmed one person has died after that tornadic storm hit Barnsdall on Monday.

Severe storms moved across the western part of the News 9 viewing area throughout the afternoon and evening before taking a tornadic turn late Monday night when storms moved through Moore and southeastern parts of Oklahoma City. That reported tornado was accompanied by damaging, straight-line winds.

A large tornado hit the northeast Oklahoma town of Barnsdall on Monday night, one of several severe storms that moved across the state throughout the day.

That storm caused significant damage to much of the town in Osage County, and left one person dead.

A neighborhood near 3rd and Chestnut has damage with debris all over the road.
