Roads In Kingfisher County Closed Due To Multiple Grass Fires

Roads in Kingfisher County are closed due to several grassfires, according to the Kingfisher County Sheriff's Office.

Northbound and southbound lanes of U.S. 81 and East 760 Road are shut down due to a large grass fire, according to authorities.

Authorities say if you are going north or south on North 2830 Road you need to seek an alternative route.

East 690 Road through East 720 Road are also closed on North 2830 Road, due to another grass fire, authorities say.

Authorities urge drivers to avoid these areas so that they can put out the grass fires.

There have also been reported grass fires in Grady County, but they are being contained, according to authorities.
