Former Blue Bell CEO Discusses New Memoir On The Porch, New Flavor To Be Announced Thursday

July is National Ice Cream Month, and Blue Bell is celebrating with a new flavor ahead of the release of "One Scoop At a Time."

Former Blue Bell president and CEO Ricky Dickson came on the Coca-Cola Porch to talk about his new book and what he learned from Blue Bell.

Dickson said his new book chronicles his journey with the company and his personal experience in life.

He said he dives into several different elements, including behind-the-scenes of Blue Bell, stories from consumers, and what he learned in his four-decade-long career.

"The heart and soul of the book is about being able to find hope and promise in a road map going from fear to faith when we go through difficult times," Dickson said.

He said he touches on leadership, his keys to success, and how ice cream can connect people of all ages.

"To see that and be a part of a company that's able to make that magic come to life, it's just really been rewarding," Dickson said.

Dickson's book will be available on Amazon or at RickyDickson.com on July 16.
