Increased Security At The Republican National Convention Is Likely After Saturday's Assassination Attempt

President Joe Biden was in Rehoboth Beach in Delaware when he learned about the assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump. Biden has since then made his way back to Washington D.C. 

The Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin starts Monday and after the attempted assassination, they are likely to have added security, according to CBS. A threat assessment was done before Saturday for the convention and no significant or specific threats were found. 

It is likely that the FBI and Secret Service will expand their parameters for the event and bring on more security.
