Jenks Man Arrested, Accused Of Hit-And-Run On Cyclist

A Jenks man is accused of running over a cyclist in a fit of road rage.

Tulsa Police said William Endicott was stopped at a red light at 91st and Elwood behind a man on his bike.

Witnesses said Endicott started honking his horn and cursing at the cyclist, then accelerated forward, knocking him to the ground and running over his bike and leg and then driving off.

The victim has several cuts and bruises. Police said a witness followed Endicott to get his tag number so officers could track him down.

Endicott is charged with leaving the scene of a crash and assault with a dangerous weapon.
