Owasso Police Arrest Driver After High Speed Chase On Highway 169

Owasso Police arrested a driver after a high-speed chase down Highway 169 on Wednesday around 3 a.m.

Police said they tried to stop a pickup truck that was hauling a trailer with a tractor on it near 116th Street North and 129th East Avenue.

The driver took off, and police used stop sticks to get the truck pulled over.

The driver then tried to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended.

Authorities have not yet determined the reason behind the driver’s attempt to evade police.
