Weekend Events: Pumpkin Picking, World War II Aircraft, And More

The weekend is here. Six In The Morning Weekend Anchor Kristen Weaver shares all the fun and exciting things happening across Green Country.

Pumpkin Picking

Pumpkin Town Farms is opening this weekend in time for the beginning of fall.

The farm is at 61st and Garnett and has activities for every age such as face painting, a petting zoo, a giant jumping pillow, and a lot of pumpkins ready to be picked.

Bring a can of food for donation and get $1 off your admission.

C-47 Hairless Joe

A World War II aircraft is flying into the Tulsa Air and Space Museum.

The C-47 Hairless Joe is a two-engine military transport aircraft called a Gooney Bird.

The aircraft will be at the museum on Saturday and Sunday.

You can see the aircraft with a general admission ticket or pay to go up in it for 30 minutes.

Flights must be reserved in advance and can be done on the Tulsa Air and Space Museum's website.

Operation Pit Stop

The Tulsa Animal Welfare is helping with Operation Pit Stop this weekend.

There will be a free spay and neuter for bully mixed breed dogs on Saturday and Sunday at the Tulsa Zoo from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The free appointments will include microchipping and vaccinations.

Home Remodeling Showcase

For those looking for a new home, you can attend the 2024 Home Remodeling Showcase this weekend.

It's hosted by the Home Builders Association of Greater Tulsa and people can see 10 of the finest homes in town.

It's Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.

Fall Fair

A Creek County Fall Fair has already kicked off and continues Friday night with a Rodeo.

The fall fair will have a car show, livestock shows, and a junior rodeo competition on Saturday night along with a carnival.

There will also be an exhibit hall with crafts from talented residents and kids.

Admission is $7 and it's at the Creek County Fairgrounds.
