The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) and Oklahoma Turnpike Authority (OTA) have provided details on several traffic advisories for the Tulsa area and surrounding regions.
Here's what you need to know:
Ongoing Highway Closures and Construction Projects in Oklahoma
Southbound US-75 is reduced to one lane and the on-ramp at 66th St. N. is closed through 9 p.m. Tuesday for surface repairs.
The northbound US-75 on-ramp from 8th St. will close from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday for ongoing bridge rehabilitation.
Northbound US-75 will have lane closures at 7th St. from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily through Friday as part of bridge rehabilitation.
The northbound US-75 off-ramp to 7th St. is closed through fall 2024 for bridge rehabilitation.
Eastbound and westbound I-44 are narrowed near US-169 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily through Monday, Oct. 7, for lighting repairs.
81st W. Ave. will be closed at US-412 from 7 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday for ongoing bridge rehabilitation.
US-412 is reduced to two lanes at 81st W. Ave. in Sand Springs through February 2025 for a bridge rehabilitation project.
Ramp closures for cashless tolling construction will occur nightly on the Will Rogers Turnpike. Key closures include:
Eastbound SH-351/Muskogee Turnpike narrows to one lane at the US-69 interchange through Friday for surface repairs.
Expect shoulder closures on the I-44/Turner Turnpike near Heyburn through fall for widening to six lanes. Speed limits are reduced in the construction zone.
Eastbound and westbound SH-66 is closed at the I-44/Turner Turnpike bridge in Wellston for up to a year due to bridge widening.
A pavement rehabilitation project on I-244 between I-44 and the Arkansas River bridge continues through spring 2025. Lane closures are in effect, and ramps between I-44 and US-75 are closed through September 2024 and spring 2025, respectively.
Eastbound I-244 narrows to one lane at the US-75 junction through fall for bridge rehabilitation.
Street widening on 33rd W. Ave. at I-44 continues through summer 2024. Westbound Skelly Dr. is closed at 33rd W. Ave.
Northbound and southbound US-75 lanes are narrowed with reduced speeds at 141st St. in Glenpool through summer 2025 for bridge construction.
Pavement reconstruction on SH-97 from S. Main St. to W. 2nd St. in Sand Springs continues through spring 2025. Two lanes will be maintained during peak hours.
Intersection work at SH-51 and 91st St. continues through fall 2024 with reduced speed limits in place.
