The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) and Oklahoma Turnpike Authority (OTA) have provided details on several Tulsa and surrounding regions' traffic advisories.

Ongoing Highway Closures and Construction Projects in Oklahoma

I-244 off-ramp at 2nd St. closed Tuesday

The westbound I-244 (west leg IDL) off-ramp to 2nd St. (mm 5A) is closed from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday for guardrail repairs.

US-75 narrows at 7th St. daily through Saturday

Northbound US-75 (east leg IDL) has lane closures at 7th St. from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily through Saturday for bridge rehabilitation.

US-75 off-ramp to 7th St. closed through fall

The northbound US-75 off-ramp to 7th St. (east leg IDL) is closed through fall 2024 for bridge rehabilitation.

I-244 ramp to US-75 closed daily through Saturday

The westbound I-244 ramp to southbound US-75 (northeast corner IDL) is closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily through Saturday for bridge rehabilitation.

I-244 narrows near US-75 through fall

Eastbound I-244 is narrowed to one lane at the US-75 junction (northeast corner IDL) through fall for bridge rehabilitation.

Oklahoma Turnpike Authority Projects

I-44 narrows near Bristow Monday, Tuesday nights

Eastbound and westbound I-44/Turner Turnpike has intermittent lane closures near Bristow (mm 199-203) from 8 p.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday, and again Tuesday night, for striping operations.

I-44 shoulder closures near Heyburn through fall

Motorists can expect shoulder closures on the I-44/Turner Turnpike near Heyburn (mm 201-203) through fall as the turnpike is widened to six lanes. Speed limits are reduced, and lanes are narrowed in the 6-mile work zone.

I-44 ramps closed at Claremore, Miami Monday night

On Monday night from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m., the following ramps on the I-44/Will Rogers Turnpike will be closed for cashless tolling construction:

1. Westbound on-ramp from SH-20 near Claremore
2. Westbound off-ramp to SH-10 near Miami

I-44 narrows to one lane between Luther and Wellston Tuesday

Eastbound I-44/Turner Turnpike narrows to one lane at mm 153.5-155 between Luther and Wellston from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday for surface repairs.

Chandler Service Plaza ramp narrows Wednesday

The eastbound I-44/Turner Turnpike ramp to the Chandler service plaza will be narrowed near the truck parking entrance from 4 p.m. Tuesday to 4 p.m. Wednesday for surface repairs.

Muskogee Turnpike narrows at US-69 through Oct. 14

Eastbound SH-351/Muskogee Turnpike is narrowed to one lane at the US-69 interchange through Oct. 14 for surface repairs.

SH-66 closed in Wellston for bridge widening project

Both directions of SH-66 are closed at 7 a.m. Tuesday between SH-102 and US-177 in Wellston for a year due to the I-44/Turner Turnpike bridge widening project.

Ongoing Highway Construction Projects

I-244 closed between I-44 and US-75

Pavement rehabilitation on I-244 between I-44 and the Arkansas River continues through spring 2025. Current closures include:

1. All lanes and ramps of eastbound I-244 between I-44 (mm 1A) and US-75 (mm 2) closed through September 2024.
2. Westbound I-244 lanes closed between US-75 (mm 2) and I-44 (mm 1A) through spring 2025.
3. I-244 narrows to two lanes between US-75 and the Arkansas River bridge.
4. Westbound I-244/US-75 off-ramps to 21st St. and 23rd St. closed.
5. 48th St. closed at Southwest Blvd.

Street widening on 33rd W. Ave. at I-44 through fall 2024

Work continues to widen 33rd W. Ave. to five lanes under I-44. The westbound Skelly Dr. is closed at 33rd W. Ave.

US-412 bridge rehabilitation at 81st W. Ave. in Sand Springs through February 2025

US-412 is reduced to two lanes in each direction at 81st W. Ave. for a bridge rehabilitation project.

US-75 bridge construction at 141st St. in Glenpool through summer 2025

Drivers should expect narrowed lanes and reduced speed limits on US-75 at 141st St. in Glenpool for bridge construction through summer 2025.

SH-97 pavement rehabilitation in Sand Springs through spring 2025

A pavement reconstruction on SH-97 continues in Sand Springs. Two lanes will remain open during peak hours.

SH-51 intersection improvements at 91st St. in Broken Arrow through fall 2024

Intersection improvements at SH-51 and 91st St. continue, with speed limit reductions in place through fall 2024.
