The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) and Oklahoma Turnpike Authority (OTA) have provided details on several traffic advisories for the Tulsa area and surrounding regions.
Here's what you need to know:
Westbound US-412 is reduced to one lane at Quanah Ave. through 5 p.m. Monday for bridge repairs. The southbound L.L. Tisdale Expressway ramp to westbound US-412 is also closed. Expect traffic delays once reopened.
The northbound US-75 on-ramp from 8th St. will close from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday for bridge rehabilitation.
Northbound US-75 will have lane closures at 7th St. daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday due to ongoing bridge work.
The northbound US-75 off-ramp to 7th St. remains closed through fall for bridge rehabilitation.
Eastbound and westbound I-44 will experience left lane closures near US-169 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily through Oct. 7 for lighting repairs.
Eastbound US-412 will be reduced to one lane at 81st W. Ave. in Sand Springs on Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for traffic realignment. The ongoing bridge project will continue through February 2025.
The following ramp closures will take place on I-44/Will Rogers Turnpike for cashless conversion construction:
Eastbound SH-351/Muskogee Turnpike narrows to one lane near US-69 through Friday for surface repairs. Ramps remain open.
Shoulder closures on I-44/Turner Turnpike near Heyburn (mm 201-203) continue through fall as part of the widening project to six lanes. Expect narrow lanes and reduced speeds. SH-66 will also be intermittently narrowed at the I-44/Turner Turnpike intersection for interchange ramp construction.
Both eastbound and westbound SH-66 will remain closed between SH-102 and US-177 in Wellston for up to a year due to I-44 bridge widening. The closure started on Sept. 3.
Pavement rehabilitation on I-244 between I-44 and the Arkansas River bridge continues through spring 2025. Current closures include:
Eastbound I-244 narrows to one lane at the US-75 junction through fall for bridge rehabilitation.
Lanes on northbound and southbound US-75 are narrowed with reduced speeds at 141st St. in Glenpool through summer 2025 due to bridge construction. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained during peak hours.
A widening project on 33rd W. Ave. at I-44 will continue through summer 2024. Westbound Skelly Dr. is currently closed at 33rd W. Ave.
SH-97 will undergo pavement reconstruction from S. Main St. to W. 2nd St. in Sand Springs through spring 2025. Two lanes will remain open during peak hours.
