Early-Morning Crash In Broken Arrow Leaves 1 Dead, 1 Injured

Broken Arrow Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred early Thursday at the intersection of S. Highway 51 and Oneta Road.

Authorities said around 3 a.m., a single vehicle struck a traffic signal at the intersection.

Two people in the vehicle were taken to the hospital. The passenger suffered serious injuries and was later pronounced dead. The driver sustained serious injuries, and their condition is unknown.

The crash damaged the traffic signals, causing them to flash. The intersection was down to one lane in both directions as police investigated.
