Tulsa Police Identify Driver In Deadly Crash On Highway 169

Tulsa Police have identified the driver killed in a wreck on Highway 169 near Pine Thursday afternoon.

Officers say Robert Pitts was driving a dump truck when he blew a tire — causing the truck to veer across two lanes of traffic — hit the median, roll over and catch fire.

The crash shut down the highway in both directions for several hours.
