Two Green Country couples are teaming up to put together Tulsa's first drive-through holiday light show.

Michael Arroyo and his wife Courtney have partnered with their lighting business co-owners Sam Sutton and his wife Janet to turn their dreams into reality.

"We both have the same mindset of wanting to reach the community and help bring Christmas cheer to other people,” said Sam.

It is called Jolly Lane Lights, and the owners have spent months putting the displays together.

They said their goal is one million lights along a one-mile stretch of road and countless smiles at the Admiral Twin Drive-In.

"They'll tune to a specific radio station, and then hear a bunch of different Christmas songs that the lights are changing colors and dancing and twinkling all in sync with the music to put on an actual show,” said Michael.

Their families have spent several years planning, designing and putting the displays together.

Now, they will spend about two months setting it all up at the drive-in.

They say the displays, which will range from Christmas to military to Route 66, have a bigger purpose.

"We're partnering up with John 3:16 Mission, The Demand Project and Soldier's Wish,” said Sam. “So, a dollar of every ticket sold here at Jolly Lane Lights will be going back to those three charities.”

Plus, there will be a military appreciation weekend and the business is collecting food donations daily at the entrance.

Michael, Courtney, Sam and Janet said they want to do more than spread Christmas cheer. They want to make a difference.

"It's a lot of work putting it on, but when you get to see those smiles on faces and stuff, it just makes it all worth it,” said Sam.

Jolly Lane Lights opens on Nov. 22 and will stay open nightly until Jan. 1.

The cost is $25 per car on weekdays and $30 on weekends.
