Scott Van Tuyl from Prossimo showed us how to make strawberry ricotta toast.
Ingredients
- 4 slices Sourdough bread
- 2 teaspoons butter
- 1/3 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/3 cup goat cheese
- 8 fresh strawberries for each slice
- Aged balsamic or balsamic glaze
- 1 teaspoon fresh mint, chiffonade
Instructions
- Step 1: Mix the two cheeses together and place in a piping bag.
- Step 2: Spread butter on the bread and toast to a golden brown on a skillet.
- Step 3: Pipe or spread cheese blend onto the toast and top with strawberries.
- Step 4: Drizzle on the balsamic and top with fresh mint.
