Child Killed After Being Struck By Vehicle In Tulsa

Tulsa Police said a child is dead after being hit by a vehicle near an apartment complex Tuesday night.

Police said the young child was hit and drug by the vehicle near the Bradford Apartments at East 32nd and North Garnett Avenue.

Authorities at the scene said shots were also fired as the driver tried to escape, but police came and he surrendered.

The driver is cooperating with authorities.

Tulsa Police are actively investigating the scene.
