Rachel Rose Dazey and Chris McCabe are leading an event in Tulsa’s Riverbend Arts District on November 2 to showcase the area’s thriving arts community. Dazey, a visionary and owner of Dillon Rose Fine Jewelry, and McCabe, co-owner of the Belafonte venue, organized the Riverbend Arts District Tour.
The Riverbend Arts District situated a few blocks west of the BOK Center and Cox Business Convention Center, stretches about two miles along the river.
This industrial area has become a grassroots arts community, where local artists have transformed the space into studios, concert venues, and creative hubs.
The Riverbend Arts District Tour will allow attendees to explore these studios and experience the artistic diversity in the district. Each studio will open its doors to the public, with some offering unique activities.
Visitors will receive a passport they can get stamped at the studios throughout the tour.
Food trucks and drink options will be available throughout the tour. Visitors can navigate the district using Lime scooters from Newblock Park or by car.
The Riverbend Arts District Tour begins at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, and runs until 7 p.m.
